Activities & Events
The Decatur Jaycees sponsor four annual events which are not only a lot of fun, but also benefit the community. Our events include the Special Friends Party, Wet Dog Triathlon, Riverfest, and the Jaycees Christmas Parade. Please see below for dates and more information about each event.

Since 1998, the Decatur Jaycees have raised over $100,000 which we have donated to local charitable organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morgan County, PACT, FACES, the Morgan County Rescue Squad, the Carnegie Visual Arts Center, and many others.

Each year we sponsor the Special Friends Party for foster children in Decatur. We had over 130 foster children and parents in attendance last year.
