We're bringing back a Decatur Tradition on May 16, 2008. Join us at
Ingall's Harbor for Cajunfest 2008. There will be plenty of Cajun food and
live entertainment. more
9th Annual Wet Dog Triathlon:
The 9th
annual Wet Dog Triathlon will be Saturday July 12, 2008 at Point Mallard Park in
Decatur. Wet Dog is a sprint distance triathlon featuring a 400 meter
swim, 15k bike ride, and 5k run. more
14th annual Riverfest Barbeque cook-off
The 14th annual Riverfest Barbeque cook-off will be held on the banks of the
Tennessee River on September 12 - 13, 2008 at Ingall's Harbor in Decatur, AL.

2008 Christmas Parade
The 2008 Decatur Jaycees Christmas Parade is scheduled for December 1, 2008 at
6:00 pm and will follow the usual route of 2nd
Avenue, Lee Street and Bank Street. (Rain date is Thursday, December
4th,
